Food and assistance programs

At The Salvation Army Community & Family Services, located at 272 Borland Street, in the community of Williams Lake, staff and volunteers are ready and willing to assist our neighbours in need. We have a variety of programs available to support individuals and families:

Free breakfast program

Free Breakfast Program is available from 9 a.m. – 9:45 a.m. Monday to Friday in the dining room.

Free lunch program

Free Lunch Program is available from 12 p.m. – 12:45 p.m. Monday to Friday in the dining room.

Share shelf

Our Share Shelf offers fresh produce and bread from 1 p.m. – 3 p.m, Monday to Friday, while supplies last. Items available vary depending on donated goods received during the morning.

Food bank

Our Food Bank is open from 1 p.m. – 3 p.m. Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
To apply for a hamper proof of household income, shelter expenses, and identification for all members of the household are needed.
